Residential Board and Train

Fast-Track Results With Professional Immersion

Board and Train gives your dog daily repetition, clear routines and force-free coaching in a residential setting, then hands the whole system back to you.

Chapter 01

When weekly lessons are not enough

Some dogs need more than one hour a week. The manners slip between sessions, the routines never quite hold, and the same behavior comes back every evening. Board and Train is for families who need a more structured, hands-on solution than isolated lessons can give.

It builds a stronger behavioral foundation by changing how much practice your dog gets. Instead of one training hour at a time, calm and cooperative behavior becomes familiar because it repeats all day.

Immersion, without force

Your dog lives inside a consistent system. Meals, doorways and real-world walks each become practice for impulse control, so the habits form where they will actually be needed rather than in a sterile setting. The setting is residential, which is the point: daily life is the classroom.

Anthony trains with science-based positive reinforcement and guided wins. There are no prong collars, e-collars or aversive tools. The goal is not forced compliance. It is a dog who makes better choices because he feels safe, regulated and supported.

For dogs who tip over easily, the work happens below the explosion point, rebuilding trust and replacing reactive responses with practical manners.

Chapter 03

The transfer phase is where the results are kept

Behavior returns when structure disappears. That is why every program includes a transfer phase, where you learn the routines, cues, boundaries and management strategies your dog has been practicing, and how to head off old habits before they settle back in.

You leave with a home transition plan, written instructions, and a consistency plan that tells you what to practice during the first days and weeks at home. Written or video support is included when available, and demonstrations show you the routines before you run them alone.

"He's shown great patience and educated us throughout the entire process." Jerika Clemson, Google review.

Is it right for your dog

A strong fit, and an honest one

Board and Train creates momentum, but it works best when you are committed to learning the system too. This program may be right if:

  • Your dog needs more consistency than weekly lessons can provide.
  • You are busy but still want a structured training path.
  • Your dog struggles with manners, routines or recurring behavior patterns.
  • You want the foundation built first, with professional support.
  • You are ready to complete the transfer phase and keep the plan going at home.

It may not be right if

  • You want a quick fix without owner involvement.
  • You cannot maintain the structure once your dog is home.
  • Your dog has severe issues that call for a different safety plan or a specialist referral.

If reactivity is the real problem, start with Calm Before Control.
